Ifac accelerates national growth with three strategic regional acquisitions

As one of Ireland’s top ten accountancy and advisory firms, ifac are pleased to announce the acquisition of three established regional practices - Con Dolan Accountants (Cavan), Peter Moore & Company (Mullingar) and Michael G Murphy Accountants (Charleville).

These acquisitions further strengthen our position as Ireland’s leading specialist professional services firm for the farming, food, agribusiness and SME sectors.

With over 50 years in business, a nationwide network of over 30 locations and a team of 600 professionals, ifac continues to deliver on a clear and ambitious growth strategy focused on expanding its regional footprint while deepening sectoral expertise.

These latest acquisitions build on strong recent momentum for the firm and reinforce its commitment to investing in local communities across Ireland.

Strategic expansion with local impact

Each of the three practices bring a strong regional reputation, deep client relationships and extensive experience advising farming families, food producers and SME business owners.

Con Dolan Accountants – Established in 1989, Con Dolan Accountants enhances ifac’s presence across Cavan and the wider border region, integrating with the existing Cavan office.

Peter Moore & Company – With a strong specialism in the farming sector, Peter Moore & Company’s strengthens ifac’s advisory offering in the Midlands through its Mullingar base.

Michael G Murphy Accountants – Michael G Murphy Accountants joins forces with ifac’s Mallow office, expanding coverage across North Cork and the wider Munster region.

The acquisitions ensure clients will continue to receive trusted local advice from familiar teams, now supported by the scale, technical depth and specialist resources of a national firm.
