Having worked with ifac for summer work while in university in 2016, Katie joined our graduate programme as a Trainee Accountant in 2017. Katie has a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Accounting from Maynooth University and is now based in our Tullamore office. Of our graduate programme Katie has said: “The four weeks training really gave the ground work to grow your knowledge and develop in the trainee role. Working with ifac gives you the opportunity to work and study at the same time, seeing the practical side to all the subjects being studied.” Outside of work, Katie is interested in Irish Dancing and competed at the World Championships in Killarney in 2017.
You need an accountant who knows farmers and the business of farming. Ifac is a co-op and they know farming and farm tax, they are experts and I recommend them.
Teddy Cashman Dairy Farmer, ifac Board Member
I was of the opinion that I had a good tax advisor prior to moving to ifac. Ifac’s service goes beyond the traditional tax accountant. Their service matches my plans for the future of my farm with top class tax planning.
Larry Martin Dairy Farmer
I listen to farmers expressing concern about the service they are getting from their accountant. I tell them to join ifac as I am very happy with the service I am getting.
Pat Murphy Dairy & Beef Farmer
Getting the benefit of all the ifac specialists with one point of contact has been great for us. We're a growing business so having a partner who brings an external perspective is highly valuable.
Padraig Hennessy Co-Founder, Terra Liquid Minerals
Young farmers need expert specialist advice, they need to be with an accountant who knows farming and farm income and transfer taxes. Ifac fits the bill for me and I strongly recommend them to other young farmers.
