From there, Ben returned to his native county of Kilkenny to take over the role of Partner in the Kilkenny office. After a college education in WIT Anita commenced a 4 year chartered accountancy training course and after qualifying took to the road to work/travel ending up in Australia. There she gained valuable experience in the industry, working with companies such as Rubicam and MLC Investments Ltd. Anita now works in the SME sector with over 15 years experience in looking after SME businesses and a strong understanding of how all SME businesses have varying needs because of the sectors they are in and the communities in which they do business. Outside of work Anita likes to get involved in local community activities and is an active member of the Dunnamaggin LGFC. Anita is married with two young kids that keep her on her toes and help her to appreciate the challenges of the working family business.
You need an accountant who knows farmers and the business of farming. Ifac is a co-op and they know farming and farm tax, they are experts and I recommend them.
Teddy Cashman Dairy Farmer, ifac Board Member
I was of the opinion that I had a good tax advisor prior to moving to ifac. Ifac’s service goes beyond the traditional tax accountant. Their service matches my plans for the future of my farm with top class tax planning.
Larry Martin Dairy Farmer
I listen to farmers expressing concern about the service they are getting from their accountant. I tell them to join ifac as I am very happy with the service I am getting.
Pat Murphy Dairy & Beef Farmer
Getting the benefit of all the ifac specialists with one point of contact has been great for us. We're a growing business so having a partner who brings an external perspective is highly valuable.
Padraig Hennessy Co-Founder, Terra Liquid Minerals
Young farmers need expert specialist advice, they need to be with an accountant who knows farming and farm income and transfer taxes. Ifac fits the bill for me and I strongly recommend them to other young farmers.
