Ifac’s returner programme will help people who have taken a career break of two years or more to reignite their career in professional services.

Take advantage of upskilling opportunities. With so many courses available online it’s never been easier to access new skills and training.
Focus on organisations that have created a returner programme.
Ensure your values are aligned with your chosen employer.
Remember your time as a caregiver wasn’t wasted. Caregivers manage heavy workloads and build invaluable skills, from time management and negotiation, to project execution and leadership. It was time well spent.
It’s never too late to change direction, find a new career, or to return to the career you loved.
