Rosie joins ifac from An Post, where she was the Sustainability Manager. She has a PhD in Greenhouse Gas Emissions, which she completed with UCD and Teagasc. Rosie is also the winner of the ‘Business Post Sustainability Rising Star of the Year 2023’.

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for many Irish businesses who may be encountering more sustainability questions from customers, suppliers, funders and regulators.

John Donoghue, our CEO said:

“As a top ten accountancy, tax, and business advisory firm, this strategically significant role forms part of ifac’s ongoing growth strategy, particularly our SME business offering."

“Sustainability remains a central focus for all our clients. Our recent ifac Food & Agribusiness Report 2024 shows that three-quarters of Irish food and agribusiness owners are focused on energy and waste reduction, and long-term sustainability.

“I’m confident that Rosie has the knowledge and expertise to guide and support our clients through all thechallenges, opportunities and business decisions around sustainability. She also has the foresight to ensure ifac stays ahead of our clients' needs. Like all our specialist advisors, she will be working very closely with our clients, helping them to improve their businesses and meet consumer needs in a sustainable way. I wish Rosie great success in her new role.”
